The service
Ownhand helps you convert supplied words into handwriting, edit PDFs, and export completed copies. The operator’s own account can also try an AI Helper, which can explain, suggest edits to answers, and draft answers; no other account has it. It is operated by Marina Shtaynberg. Use arishtay2010+ownhand@gmail.com for questions.
You remain responsible for your words and for reviewing recognition and rendering results. Some PDF text, handwriting, symbols, or layouts cannot be converted reliably. Ownhand can preserve a difficult original fragment rather than render it incorrectly. Conversion changes appearance and is not secure redaction: original text can remain searchable and copyable.
Your account and your work
Use an account of your own and keep sign-in access private. Only submit material you own or have permission to use. Your uploads are used to provide the features you request; uploading does not transfer ownership of your documents or handwriting to Ownhand.
Use Ownhand in line with your school, workplace, and recipient’s rules. Do not use it to forge signatures, impersonate someone, or misrepresent required personal work. Ownhand supplies formatting and transcription tools, not permission to bypass those rules.
You must be at least 13 to use Ownhand. If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian and must follow your sign-in provider’s eligibility rules. Ownhand asks for your birth month and year once and keeps only your age group. A paid plan is bought through a payment link made in Account & usage. The person who pays must be a parent or guardian, or the account holder if they are 18 or older, using their own payment method. That person is responsible for the payment account.
Plans and limits
Existing directly invited private-pilot accounts receive 100 new export versions per UTC month and 30 saved documents without payment until paid plans open or through May 31, 2027, whichever is later. Proposed future plans appear on the pricing page and may change before launch. Accounts that join after paid plans open are planned to get Personal limits for their first 30 days, with no card, before Free limits apply. Document size, page, area, and character limits apply to every plan.
Export allowances reset at the start of each UTC calendar month and do not roll over. An unchanged completed version of a saved document can be downloaded again without using another export. A new successful version can use another export. Exporting the same temporary PDF, answers, and handwriting again in the same UTC month does not use another export.
Friends passes and referral rewards
A valid launch code gives the first 20 accounts a pass with 100 new export versions per UTC calendar month and 30 saved-document slots. Claim before the deadline shown by the person inviting you; that deadline is not extended. A claimed pass lasts at least 30 days and continues until paid plans open. One pass per account; repeated claims do not extend it. No card is required and the pass never starts a paid subscription. After it ends, Free limits apply: 10 new exports per UTC month and 5 saved-document slots. Existing documents remain available; you may need to delete some before saving more.
A new account joining through a valid referral link earns 5 bonus exports after its first successful export; the sender also earns 5, up to 5 rewarded referrals (25 exports) per UTC month. Every qualifying new friend still receives their own 5 exports after the sender reaches that cap. Sharing a link or signing up alone does not earn a reward. Self-referrals and duplicate accounts created to claim rewards are not eligible.
Bonus exports expire 90 days after they are awarded. They are used after the monthly allowance, soonest expiry first, and do not increase storage limits. They cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred between accounts. The operator can pause new pass claims; already claimed passes keep the end described above. A referral link alone does not grant admission when the friends code is unavailable.
Payment, renewal, and offers
Proposed paid-plan terms — pending the legal operator’s review. Public purchases are disabled. The free private pilot does not renew into a paid plan. Owner-only Stripe sandbox tests use fake payment details and do not move real money.
Personal costs $6.99 USD per month before applicable tax. Stripe Managed Payments provides hosted checkout through Link and handles tax for supported transactions. Check the final amount, tax, billing interval, and renewal terms in checkout before confirming. A monthly subscription renews automatically until it is cancelled.
A payment link works for 7 days and buys one plan for the account that made it. Only the newest link works; making a new link or cancelling one ends the old link and asks Stripe to end any checkout already started from it. If Stripe can’t confirm that right away, that checkout can stay open until it expires, at most 35 minutes after it started. The payment page shows a short link code and the plan, never the student’s name, email or work. The person who pays enters their own email at checkout and receives the receipts.
Promotion codes are subject to the eligibility and duration displayed at checkout. A discount for one billing period does not reduce later renewals. A 100% first-month discount makes that first period free; unless canceled, the next period renews at the displayed regular price. Ownhand does not begin a subscription merely because you open checkout.
Cancellation and refunds
Proposed policy for future paid subscriptions. There are no real pilot charges to cancel or refund.
The person who paid can cancel renewal from the management link in their receipt email, or by contacting arishtay2010+ownhand@gmail.com with the email used to pay. For a plan bought through a payment link, Account & usage shows the plan’s status and end date but has no billing controls. Cancellation normally keeps access until the end date and does not itself refund an earlier payment.
For a refund request or billing error, the person who paid can contact arishtay2010+ownhand@gmail.com with the email used to pay and the receipt reference. Do not send full card details. Requests are reviewed individually under applicable consumer rights and the payment provider’s rules; approval is not automatic. This does not limit any mandatory rights you have. For purchases sold through Link, you can also request transaction help through Link support.
A partial or full refund by itself does not cancel a subscription. If your request also asks to end the service, we will confirm cancellation and the access end date separately. Refunds are returned through the payment provider to the original payment method when supported.
Canceling a plan and deleting a workspace are separate actions. Ending a paid plan does not automatically delete your documents. If a lower plan’s limits apply, you may need to reduce saved documents or wait for an allowance reset before creating more.
Availability, changes, and leaving
Keep copies of important source files and exports. Recognition, rendering, transfers, and service availability can fail, so review the output before relying on it. The pilot can change as issues are resolved.
Account & usage includes a workspace backup and deletion controls. See the privacy page for how deletion, retained records, and external copies work. Material changes to a paid plan or these policies must be communicated before they apply; an existing purchase is governed by the terms presented for it.
