How Ownhand works

  1. Write your letters

Write each letter, number and symbol in a box, then a few words. Apple Pencil works best.

    About 6 min

  2. Try it on a page

Tap a typed answer on a practice page. It turns into your handwriting.

    1 min

  3. Adjust it

Make it neater or messier, bigger or smaller.

    1 min

  4. Export your PDF

Download it, or send it to Notability or Drive.

Good to know

  • Works best with typed PDFs. Scans and photos take an extra step.
  • Saved PDFs and handwriting are stored privately for your account.
  • Your handwriting is drawn from your own pen strokes. No AI writes it.
  • Ownhand changes how your words look; it doesn’t write assignment answers.
